Acrylic and watercolor for young artists

Painting classes give children and teens a chance to experiment with color, explore techniques and make something of their own. The focus is on a project suited to the learner, with private guidance from Merit. Share your child’s age, interests and any previous painting experience so she can suggest a starting point.

A project shaped around your child

A first painting session and a class for an experienced young artist can call for different materials and a different pace. Merit adapts the session to the learner. Children’s painting classes last around two hours; discuss the format and anything your child needs before confirming the booking.

Other creative interests

Young learners can also discuss digital illustration or upcycling with Merit. Digital sessions use an iPad, a compatible digital pen and Procreate and typically last 1–2 hours. Clothes, shoe and candle-jar projects offer another way to explore painting. Ask Merit which medium and project would suit your child.

What to include in a parent’s enquiry

Send your child’s age, the kind of art they enjoy, your preferred dates and any ideas for a project. Classes are offered in Dubai with flexible dates arranged directly. Merit will confirm the exact location, materials, pricing and availability before you arrange the session. For a school, community or group workshop, include the approximate group size too.
